Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our business development arm. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in identifying opportunities for brands and influencers to work together. With a diverse portfolio of services, this individual will be pitching a myriad of ways for brands to work with CookIt Media – from influencer partnerships to custom content and managed campaign services. While this role is a part time contractor position to begin, the intention is to commit to a full time role after 6 months.


What you’ll do:

Working with the VP of Strategic Partnerships, participate in identifying and securing new business opportunities and well-aligned brands. 

  • Create, build and email weekly list of brand outreach opportunities
  • Pitch CookIt Media’s full-service offerings, including talent and content roster and campaign services 
  • Identify opportunities, needs and challenges of prospective clients
  • Assist with brand-aligned concepts, client analysis and creative strategies 
  • Build campaign proposal decks, compile influencer rate sheets and other sales documents
  • Utilize team CRM tools, including HubSpot and, to organize and create sales pipelines
  • Support initial outreach to prospects and follow ups
  • Take calls with potential clients
  • Help ideate and pitch CookIt Media for event opportunities that directly lead to new business opportunities 
  • Aim to connect CookIt to networks, associations and individuals that will increase our visibility and support business goals

Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads, detailed organization and possess strong people and communication skills. This role will begin by being heavily involved in the new business process from start to finish.
