CookIt Media is a one-of-a-kind influencer marketing agency with expertise in both the business of influencer marketing and the world of food and beverage. With a goal to grow, support and manage a proprietary talent roster, the Talent Manager role is key to CookIt’s Talent team. Working with the Director of Talent, you will oversee and support the current talent roster, while leading the company’s efforts to expand the roster and the services we provide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively and reactively collaborate with Director of Talent on new business opportunities for Talent 
  • Strategize, develop, and implement agency processes to increase workflow and efficiencies within the Talent department
  • Help manage the roster’s inbound opportunities and the execution of multiple partnerships, ensuring brand and influencer are aligned on scope, process, timeline, etc. 
  • Provide strategic support with regard to social media, industry trends, brand extensions and growth trajectory to help Talent achieve their goals and create new opportunities for their brands
  • Alongside the Director of Talent, identify and recruit category-expert influencers and content creators for exclusive management
  • Working with VP Business Development, help identify partnership opportunities for talent, utilizing “wish lists”, contacts, research
  • Report to the Director of Talent
  • Manage and mentor team members at the Talent Coordinator level
  • Oversee Talent onboarding/exit
  • Oversee Talent Trackers
  • Oversee the contract process and approvals, including scopes and negotiation
  • Working with VP Business Development/Director of Talent, oversee creation of wrap reports, recap decks and re-pitching efforts, leveraging available performance data and metrics


Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in influencer talent management and strategy. Our ideal candidate has a passion for influencers and social media, along with an interest in food and cooking. You’re also highly organized, ambitious, curious and creative, and excited about the opportunity to take on new challenges. 

Location: Remote

Time: 20 hours per week

Salary: Hourly, TBD pending experience. Contractor Position.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our business development arm. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in identifying opportunities for brands and influencers to work together. With a diverse portfolio of services, this individual will be pitching a myriad of ways for brands to work with CookIt Media – from influencer partnerships to custom content and managed campaign services. While this role is a part time contractor position to begin, the intention is to commit to a full time role after 6 months.


What you’ll do:

Working with the VP of Strategic Partnerships, participate in identifying and securing new business opportunities and well-aligned brands. 

  • Create, build and email weekly list of brand outreach opportunities
  • Pitch CookIt Media’s full-service offerings, including talent and content roster and campaign services 
  • Identify opportunities, needs and challenges of prospective clients
  • Assist with brand-aligned concepts, client analysis and creative strategies 
  • Build campaign proposal decks, compile influencer rate sheets and other sales documents
  • Utilize team CRM tools, including HubSpot and, to organize and create sales pipelines
  • Support initial outreach to prospects and follow ups
  • Take calls with potential clients
  • Help ideate and pitch CookIt Media for event opportunities that directly lead to new business opportunities 
  • Aim to connect CookIt to networks, associations and individuals that will increase our visibility and support business goals

Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads, detailed organization and possess strong people and communication skills. This role will begin by being heavily involved in the new business process from start to finish.
