What’s Trending in March

Spring is right around the corner, temperatures are creeping up, and consumers are itching to put away their winter coats (even though it’s still freezing in a good chunk of the US). From Mardi Gras to spring cleaning to casserole recipes, there’s no shortage of seasonal trends for brands and influencers to incorporate into their content calendars this coming month.

Notable Dates

  • Women’s History Month – March 1st marks the start of Women’s History Month! This month is dedicated to celebrating the achievements and contributions that women have made to history, culture, and society.

  • International Women’s Day – It’s only right that International Women’s Day is celebrated during Women’s History Month, so make sure you mark your calendars and show all the women in your life a little extra love on March 8th.

  • Mardi Gras – Get ready to party, because Fat Tuesday falls on March 1st this year. Mardi Gras technically symbolizes the last day before Lent, but it’s a day of festivities and feasting that anyone can participate in.

  • Pi Day – March 14th is Pi Day! It’s the annual celebration of the mathematical constant π, and also the perfect excuse to bake (and eat!) lots of pie.

  • First Day of Spring – March 20th kicks off a new season full of sunshine, flowers, spring cleaning, and of course, spring allergies.
